Why a lobby code starts with a letter
The first character of every managed lobby code is its region, so joining resolves without asking us anything. A code is read aloud and typed by hand, so the alphabet leaves out I, O, 0 and 1 — the four characters people get wrong. A letter is permanent once a region has it.

The free plan is us-east only. Paid plans reach every region on this page
the day it opens, with nothing to change on your side.
